It was time for our Connie. Two years without a shower is a long time! Mass lockdowns not only blocked restoration work but also this essential annual maintenance. So it was this Saturday, May 21 that the whole team met on the Frémiou field for this great spring cleaning.
The day begins as usual with a good coffee and some sweet sweets. But here is the smell of coffee replaced by that of burnt diesel. It reminds us, like a schoolyard bell, that it is time to get to work. The burners of our faithful high pressure cleaner have worked and the water is now at temperature, ready to make our F-BGNJ sparkle.
The aerial work platforms loaned by our sponsor ACTIS-LOCATION (we thank him warmly) rises with Antoine and Louis-Marin on board motivated to fight with the dirt. Lance ready, brush ready! Here we go!
Two other high pressure cleaners are also in operation for boarding bridge and low parts.
It took a day for the beautiful bird to regain its whiteness.
